Yes, that "goo" you're seeing is totally normal and it's called discharge. Most girls start seeing it about 6 months to a year before their first period, so it's a super good sign that your period is coming soon!

Discharge is just your body's way of cleaning itself and it helps keep everything healthy down there. It can look different depending on where you are in your cycle, even before you start your period. Sometimes it's clear and stretchy, sometimes it's white or yellowish and creamy, or even a little sticky. All of those are totally fine.

Keep an eye on it, because tracking discharge is actually a really cool way to try and predict your period! When you start seeing more, or if it changes to be more clear and stretchy, that usually means your body is getting ready. If it ever has a really strong, bad smell, or if you feel super itchy, then that's a good time to tell a grown-up just to make sure everything's okay.
