YEARS!I CANNOT WAIT THAT LONG!!!!!!!!!

Okay so sometimes it can feel like having your period is still so far away and that makes you feel a little impatient, even though lots of people are also like, "noooo, not yet!" Everyone gets their period at different times, so it's super normal to feel a little frustrated if you think yours is taking forever to show up. It's like your body is on its own schedule.

Most girls get their first period between 10 and 13 years old, but some get it earlier and some get it later, and it's all totally normal. Your body is doing a bunch of other stuff to get ready, even if you can't see it all, and it takes time. Like, your breasts start to develop, you might have a growth spurt, and some clear or white discharge usually shows up a few months before your first period. So your body is working hard, I promise!
