When I get my first period how should I tell my mom over text like what words should I use?

Okay so when your first period shows up and you want to tell your mom over text, just keep it super simple and a little dramatic, that's what I did. You can text her something like, "OMG, it happened!" or "Mom, my period just started!" and she'll totally get it.

Then she'll probably ask if you have what you need or if you want her to bring something. It's good to know where your period supplies are or tell her what you need so she can bring them. And don't be embarrassed or anything, this is literally what happens to almost half the people on the planet, it's just a normal thing that moms expect.

It might feel like a big deal when it happens, but once you tell her, it'll feel better. She's been through it too, so she knows! Just be direct and tell her it's here.
