When do you think my period will start?

Okay so literally no one can tell you exactly when your period will start, because everyone's body kinda does its own thing. But there are some signs to look for that can give you a pretty good idea that it's getting close!

First up, your body starts to change a bit. You might notice your breasts developing, and that's usually one of the first signs of puberty for girls. Then, usually about a year or two after your breasts start growing, you might notice some vaginal discharge. It's usually clear or white and means your body is getting ready.

Another super common sign is a growth spurt! You might find yourself growing taller pretty fast, and doctors say your period usually shows up about six months to a year after that growth spurt slows down. Most girls get their first period between ages 10 and 13, but some get it a little earlier or later, and that's totally normal too.
